Whale Watching in Maui
We took the Whale Watching tour with Trilogy Excursions. It’s an almost 2 hours tour. Maui is one of the best places to see the whales, and we were lucky to see so many.
The tour company is located in Lahaina. The area is quite busy and parking is hard to find, so go there early.
Bird Watching in Maui
Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge is just 30 minutes SE of Lahaina. It’s a wetland habitat for endangered Waterbirds. Take a walk on the boardwalk, which snakes along the shoreline. Interpretive panels scattered along the boardwalk identify the birds. Couple of boardwalk openings provide access to the beach as well.
