The Garden Island
Kauai located on the pacific, is an island in Hawaiian archipelago, in the state of Hawaii. It is an almost 4-5 hours flight from Vancouver, British Columbia.
The island, very deservedly so, is also called Garden Island due to its lush green valleys, cathedral spire-like peaks and beautiful majestic falls. It also features breathtaking views of the Grand Canyons of the Pacific, beautiful hikes, trails and beaches.
Last but not the least, be it roads, hills, streets, beaches or top of the mountain, you will see them hanging out everywhere…yes I am talking about Feral chickens of Kauai. As a bonus, you might not have to set an alarm, as most likely you will be awaken by rooster crowing.
